Starting our own practice was essentially about going back to the basics, about keeping things simple, easy and sustainable. And that’s how the name – Adding Well Solutions. It reminds us of what wealth creation essentially is – the simple process of accumulation over a period of time. A process which, if done well will be able to provide financial security, a prerequisite to live a healthy, happy and meaningful life.
Founder
Umesh has over two decades of experience in financial services during which he has worked with asset management companies and private banks. His last assignment was with L&T Capital Markets, a boutique wealth management firm, where he was managing investments for entrepreneurs, corporate executives, professionals and some corporate treasuries. Prior to this he had an 8 year stint with DSP Merrill Lynch, where he picked up the nuances of wealth management.
When it comes to investing, Umesh believes that following a process and maintaining discipline has greater impact than choosing the next multi bagger. His focus is on what’s in our control while being prepared for surprises.
Umesh hails from Kolkata and moved to Bengaluru in 2003. During his various corporate stints, he has had the privilege to travel across the country and meet investors across cities, coming from different walks of life with different aspirations and needs.
